Carey has assisted Greenvestment in the structuring and creation of Green H2 Fund I – Private Investment Fund, with the purpose of investing in non-conventional renewable energy projects with a focus on green hydrogen.

This transaction was closed on 14 December for approximately $110 million USD.

The investment fund is supported by the Chilean government through its CORFO programme, an institution that supports development projects in strategic areas for the country. The fund was launched in London in the context of Chile Day, an event that brought together the Chilean investment community and the Chilean authorities in charge of capital markets.

Carey’s team was led by partner Francisco Guzmán (pictured), with support from associates Carlos Alcalde, Andrés Latorre, Enzo Devoto and José Pedro Fuentealba.
