Machado Meyer assists in Copel’s first issue of commercial papers
Machado Meyer has assisted Banco Itaú BBA, as lead arranger, in the first issue of Commercial Papers, in Single Series, by Copel Geração e Transmissão, in the amount of R$1 billion ($188,355,841.85 USD).
The issue, signed on 29 August and closed on 23 September, had an additional guarantee for public distribution with restricted distribution effort, in accordance with CVM Instruction 476.
The advice included the drafting, negotiation, evaluation and review of the bid documents. Stocche Forbes Advogados acted as counsel to Copel.
