BMA and Pinheiro Neto advises on the formation of a FIDC
BMA Advogados advised Sotreq; Pinheiro Neto Advogados assisted Banco Itaú BBA on the formation of a receivables investment fund (FIDC), by means of which clients of Sotreq that fit the eligibility criteria provided for in the FIDC’s Bylaws and other requisites set forth in the documentation of the transaction will be able to advance the payment of receivables arising from the sale and purchase of Sotreq products, representing an innovative financing program to Sotreq clients.
The FIDC issued BRL 200 million in senior, mezzanine and subordinate quotas (jointly), which were subscribed by professional investors by means of the lead underwriter’s placement efforts and by parties involved in the structuring of the FIDC.
The funds capitalized into the FIDC will be used for the acquisition of receivables originated by Sotreq and clients that adhere to the company’s financing program.
